The Bio-Sleeve - An Overview
The
Bio-Sleeve is a water efficient urinal unit that saves thousands of
litres of water annually.
RECYCLEABLE?
Our water-efficient urinal is completely recycleable. The unit
merely unscrews, is cleaned off site in a solution of our dynamic NEW
cleaner/descaler, and after a new bacteria/enzyme block is fitted -
it's ready for action. You will not find thousands
of our water efficient urinal units turning up in rubbish tips throughout
the land, adding to the country's refuse pollution (these can carry
every germ you can find in a gents toilet and are usually filthy when
disposed of ). None of our competitors can make this claim.
SAVINGS
In addition to annual water and sewerage charges, changing to the Bio-Sleeve
water efficient urinal unit, with service agreement, means no expensive
call out charges to clear blockages or money wasted on the cost of odour
masking products.
CONVENIENCE
We will maintain and service all water efficient urinals installed with
the Bio-Sleeve unit so your staff will no longer have to carry out any
unpleasant tasks in the washroom. In the unlikely event of your urinal
blocking, between service calls, we will call free of charge to deal
with the problem (providing vandalism is not involved). GO GREEN and
save your staff unpleasant work.
ENGINEERS
EXPERIENCE
In the workplace
we have found that P traps are the most reliable. Bottle traps
have an inherent design fault that make them highly undesirable in urinals
and should only be used where space prohibits the installation of P
traps. In fact, if space allows we do not fit traps to all water efficient
urinals, but fit a through trap after the run of urinals. This allows
more flushing action to get to the lone trap and if you have a reduced
flushing system it multiplies the flushing of a single trap, which is
easily removed if problems occur.
WATER
EFFICIENT URINALS OR REDUCED FLUSHING?
It's entirely up to the customer which option they choose. Both work
well, if the cleaning regime is adhered to. Water efficient urinals
require dosing at least twice a week. Dosing means mixing 1 litre of
water with sufficient enzyme cleaner and pouring over urinal head, to
cleanse block and release extra enzymes into the system. Reduced flushing
requires a flushing control that times flushing every six hours, saving
96% of water costs associated with normal urinal running.
How the Enzyme Cleaner Works

1 - Safe, powerful enzymes break the bonds that shape the problem. Any stain, odour or blockage is made up of molecules
joined
together as complex chemicals.
These
chemicals are linked together by bonds (chemical chains). By careful selection
and use of powerful enzymes to safely break these bonds, the chemicals
no longer exist. The molecules do but individually they cause no further
problems.
2 - Friendly bacteria then eat the remaining organic matter. Bacteria are able to digest molecules of organic matter such as waste in drains, or staining on fabrics, converting it into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2).

3
- The problem has now gone. As there is no organic matter on which our
special safe bacteria or other harmful germs can feed, they cannot survive.
The problem is removed, not covered up as with many harsh chemical cleaners.
It’s cured - naturally.
Biological
cleaning treatments and cleaners are available for numerous applications,
providing solutions to problems otherwise impossible to resolve, such
as odour eradication, drain and pipe-cleaning stain removal.
